Matt is a cinematographer reared in the American South now based in New York and Atlanta. His films have premiered at film festivals all over the world including Sundance, SXSW, Venice, Toronto, and Tribeca. His most recent documentary The Python Hunt won a Special Jury Prize at SXSW ‘25 and a recent narrative feature Bad Shabbos won the Audience Award at Tribeca ‘24.

When not on set, he’s most likely found on a bike or spending time at his garden beds trying to grow the perfect tomato.
